Welcome to the Durango Brewers Trail Series—a high-energy, community-driven trail running experience that brings together the best of Durango: incredible trails, outstanding local breweries, and a passion for connection.
This three-race summer series features scenic 5K–10K trail races, each partnered with a different local brewery. Every event is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of movement, community, and craft. Each brewery will also select a local nonprofit beneficiary, meaning your miles will make a meaningful impact right here in Durango.
Whether you're chasing a podium finish or just out for a fun evening run with friends, this series is designed for runners of all levels.
Why This Series?
The Durango Brewers Trail Series is built on a simple idea: running is better together. By connecting local runners, breweries, and nonprofits, we’re creating something bigger than a race—a summer tradition that celebrates everything that makes Durango special.

Anarchy Brewing 5 Mile Kickoff Race
Kick off your summer with the Anarchy Brewing 5 Mile Kickoff Race, the opening event of the Durango Brewers Trail Series! Join us on Thursday, July 2 at 6:00 PM for a spirited evening run through the flowing singletrack of Horse Gulch. This 5-mile course is designed to be fun and approachable, featuring smooth trails, punchy climbs, and fast sections that reward both effort and strategy.
After the race, head across the street to Anarchy Brewing to keep the energy going. Celebrate your run with a cold drink, connect with fellow runners, and enjoy the lively post-race atmosphere that brings together the best of Durango’s trail and craft communities. Whether you’re building toward a strong series finish or just showing up for a great run and great company, this race delivers.
This event proudly benefits the MMIR Task Force, so every step you take helps support their efforts to raise awareness, advocate for families, and bring attention to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives. Ska Brewing 10K Race
Keep the party going at the second stop in the Durango Brewer’s Trail Series Join us on Thursday, July 23 at 6:00 PM for a fun, fast, and scenic 10K trail race at Twin Buttes. This course offers a perfect mix of rolling terrain, smooth singletrack, and classic Durango views—ideal for both seasoned trail runners and those looking to jump into the series with something memorable.
After you cross the finish line, the celebration continues with a high-energy post-race party featuring live music and hosted by Ska Brewing, where you can swap stories, enjoy a well-earned drink, and take in the community atmosphere that makes this series special. Whether you’re chasing a podium spot or just out for a great evening run, this race sets the tone for an unforgettable summer.

High Trestle Brewing Series Finale
Bring the series to a close at the High Trestle Series Finale, a fast and fun 5K trail race in the Test Tracks / Overend Mountain Park on Thursday, July 30 at 6:00 PM. This course features punchy climbs, sweeping views, and just enough challenge to keep things exciting—perfect for emptying the tank and finishing your summer trail series on a high note.
The celebration doesn’t stop at the finish line. Stick around for the post-race party and series awards ceremony, where we’ll recognize overall champions and age group standouts from across all three races. It’s the culmination of a summer of effort, community, and competition—whether you ran one race or all three.
